Case Study VR Karbala
VR Karbala is a realistic VR animation about a battle that took place 1400 years ago.
25+ people, including the Director, Technical Director, PM, Concept Artist, Character Artist, 3D artist, Rigger, Animator, Developers, Actors, Musicians etc.

We had the full responsibility of the development of VR Karbala, including the development of animation, virtual reality App and back-end.
The process from start to the release of the first version of VR Karbala took approx. 7 months. VMA Nordic had 25+ employees for the production phase.
7 persons were involved in the process of preparing the concept drawings, 3D models including texture and rigging.
To obtain a realistic animation, we made use of actors and recorded their movements via motion capture, which was later edited by the animation team.
Vi har Unreal Engine-specialister, udviklere og Unity eksperter, som var involveret i selve Virtual Reality-processen.
App og backend
In this part of the process, 3 developers, including back-end, front-end and app developers, were part of the activities. They were ensuring that the VR Karbala App, the payment system and the user database was functioning flawlessly.
